Bob Rothenberg was the track & field coach at Brown University from 1983 to 2000 and led the women's team to 10 Heptagonal Championships. Bob and his wife, Ann, are extremely active in civic activities, volunteering for the Ronald McDonald House and as the director for statewide track meets.
Nich Haber has been enjoying running since 2001 and has completed 9 marathons including qualifying for Boston. He is a fan of the sport of road racing & track. Prior to NE Distance, Nich had a successful business, SkillCheck, Inc., a global assessment corporation that set the standards for computer and digital literacy skills.
Dr. Susan Donahue is the race director for both the Ronald McDonald House of Providence Women's Classic 5k (which raised over $40,000 for the House in 2011) and the Woonsocket YWCA Race Against Racism. She is Vice President of the Chiropractic Society of Rhode Island and her practice is focused on the needs of athletes.
Elizabeth Lane of Westport, MA is active in arts, education and health philanthropy including being on the RISD Associates Board, on the Executive Board of her daughters' school, Moses Brown and an Ambassador for Every Mother Counts. She recently ran the 2014 TCS New York City Marathon.
Molly Huddle is the current American Record holder in the 10000m and represented the USA in the 2012 & 2016 Olympics. Molly set the record with a time of 30:13.17 in the women's 10000m final in Rio, good for 6th place. Currently, Molly lives and trains in Providence.
Frank Scuito is a partner at Disanto Priest, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Certified Financial Planners, The Financial Planning Association and the Estate Planning Council. He also serves on the Board of Advisors for the Audubon Society of Rhode Island.
Jeff Padwa, a bronze medalist at 2013 Comrades Ultramarathon in South Africa, is a partner at DarrowEverrett LLP. Jeff has also served as the Chief of Staff and General Councilor for the Rhode Island General Treasurer and is the former City Solicitor of Providence.
Steve Cohan recently retired from CVS Health, culminating a successful career in the healthcare industry across a number of different organizations. Overall, Steve spent nearly 30 years in the healthcare arena, including CVS Health, WebMD, Medco and Consumer Health Services. He has 4 children, and currently resides in Barrington, RI He is an avid cyclist, having participated in the Pan Mass Challenge every year since 1994, and enjoys hiking the White Mountains on year round basis.
